St. Johns Wort oil is a bit of a universally useful friend, offering many benefits for pain, nerve, and burn support as well as beautifying the skin and softening scars.
We judiciously hand collect flower and leaf tops from our clean wild stands in the Catskills. The harvest is then freshly infused in extra virgin olive oil, warmed in the summer sun and tended to daily for many weeks before being pressed and strained, also by hand.
Packaged in glass bottles with an easy to dispense pump that prevents contamination.
Keep out of direct sun.
SUGGESTED USE: Apply generously to areas of the body where there is overactive nerve issues, scarification or soreness and massage in well. Re-apply as often as necessary.
After cool water, apply to burns.
Use as a facial oil for dry, mature skin.
KEY INGREDIENTS
ST. JOHNS WORT (Hypericum perforatum): Harvesting St. Johns buds and flowers are truly a labor of love as the timing has to be correct, as does the sun, and one needs a fair amount of time itself to dedicate to the process. Although we grow the plant, we find St. Johns doesn't really like to be pinned down in cultivation. Because of this, we mainly wildcraft the flowers from carefully selected stands far from roadsides and pollution, hand harvesting for many days to source enough for fresh oil infusions while leaving plenty for the insects to enjoy.
FULL INGREDIENTS: Extra virgin olive oil, fresh St. Johns Wort (Hypericum perforatum) flower and leaf tops, sunshine.
